Who we are & our objectives

Who we are

The Greek Australian Conservative Coalition (GACC) is an independent public advocacy group formed in late 2009 by members of the Greek Australian community. GACC members and supporters include many prominent members of the Greek Australian community from the political, business and academic arenas of NSW. The GACC will be forming South Australian & Victorian chapters in the next 6 months.

Our objectives

Unite Conservative Greek Australians in NSW
Promote and Lobby for the National Issues of Hellenism and matters concerning the Greek Australian Community of NSW.
Develop stronger diplomatic and economic ties between The Commonwealth of Australia, The Hellenic Republic and Republic of Cyprus.
Develop stronger political ties between the Liberal Party and the New Democracy Party of The Hellenic Republic.
Encourage and support members of the Greek Australian community of NSW to engage more actively in the political process at all levels of government.
Provide scholarships to young Greek Australians undertaking pubic affairs related studies beneficial to the entire community and facilitate access to Australian parliamentarians.
Support Greek Australian Liberal Party Candidates for Local, State, and Federal office.
Support Liberal party candidates that hold and proactively advocate Pro Hellenic positions on the national issues of The Hellenic Republic and Republic of Cyprus.
Liaison with the Greek Australian business community , professionals and leading academics to further our stated objectives.
